The challenge
Our customer wanted to develop an app that would effectively create herd immunity from the novel COVID-19 virus. The reasoning behind this was to ensure that the users of the application were aware of vaccination statuses of people around them, especially in indoor areas.
The solution
To fully satisfy our customer’s business and social benefit ideas, we created an application and it’s every component from initial design to deployment.
The solution is an iOS app that allows users to generate QR-coded and validated COVID-19 vaccination tokens. The consumer enters one’s information regarding recent tests and vaccinations. Then, the app generates QR code that allows the user to visit public institutions.
There are several other functions as well. Vaxley allows users to track statistics of the closest establishments with the highest number of vaccinated visitors. Furthermore, it is possible to search registered businesses that accept the passport through a listing directory and geolocation. Business owners also benefit from the app as they are able to track the percentage of herd immunity among the visitors.
These functions are supported by the fact that the app has a unique calculation formula for identification of herd immunity. Statistics is created based on the users’ personal tests.

Features
We provided the customer with an iOS app that functions according to their vision. Here are the basic features of the platform:

01. Information synchronization
The user enters data about recent vaccinations and/or tests and the app provides an immunity token

The user is able to see the vaccination statistics of the nearest establishments on the map and make appropriate choices

The app allows users to register their businesses to accept Vaxley immunity tokens. Business owners can also access and track statistics of daily immunity
Results
The customer received an app that is packed with features. It sports a number of features that are benefiting regular users and business owners based on the statistics. Regular users are able to create vaccination tokens and turn them into scannable QR codes. Business owners are able to see the immunization status of their establishments.
All the information required for the statistics is gathered when app users enter their vaccination data.
As a result, the app creates a whole picture of herd immunity for users to make conscious choices when deciding which establishment they are going to visit. Information provided by the app effectively stops the spread of COVID-19 and promotes herd immunity.
