If you like to go sunbathing on a sunny day, you would really appreciate the UV Sensor mobile application. This healthcare app helps track UV exposure and notifies the user when it’s not safe to keep tanning. The application can be used for both outdoor tanning and sunbed.

The mobile application works with a custom hardware device. This wearable device measures the current UV exposure and temperature and sends up-to-date data to the smartphone. This sensor connects to a smartphone using Bluetooth Low Energy technology.

To set up the application, the user has to fill in the profile info, determine his skin type and pair the smartphone with the device. Now the sensor starts sending real-time data to the smartphone. The application processes this data and calculates time for safe tanning and also time when your skin will get sunburned. Then the app displays this valuable information on the smartphone’s screen.
