We improved the UI of the client application and developed an app for therapists, allowing doctors to book the time and type of examinations for their patients.

The challenge
Until recently in the US, all communications between doctors, and doctors with patients were by fax. Doctors shared patient data, test results, scans, and so on by fax and stored them in the physical patient files. Our team is actively developing telemetric remote medical services, as this is the need of our time.
Currently, the United States is pursuing medical reform aimed at digitalization. Medmo is focused on facilitating the interaction of a doctor with a doctor, as well as a patient with a doctor. So, a patient doesn’t waste time looking for the most convenient medical center and doesn’t waste nerves on trips to the hospital to organize the check-up.
Medmo can become an essential tool for the healthcare industry and patients all over the country. Both patients and healthcare professionals can benefit from a structured and straightforward tool for setting up appointments and scheduling complex testing proscedurers, like MRI, CT and Ultrasound scans. The solution
Medmo matches patients looking for local, affordable, quality medical scans with its network of accredited imaging centers. The internal Care Team manages the scheduling details so you can focus on getting care. On the platform, the user can book time for medical research. In the Admin panel, managers can see all applications, edit them and contact clients to clarify the details.
We have been working on supporting, updating, and expanding the current functionality of the healthcare platform. Our professional team created new features to simplify the work of doctors. Also, our experts completely redesigned the booking mechanism of the previously existing one.
So, the Medmo platform implies three roles — a patient who can fill out all the necessary forms on their own, a doctor who fills out the forms for the patient, as well as independently generate or upload restrictions, and an administrator who can edit all the data. It has an intuitive interface for both patients and doctors and provides instructions for use so that everyone has access to fast medical care.
The approach
Our professional web development team created the Medmo platform based on ReactJS. We grounded its backend part on Node.js and AWS S3. During the development, our data experts migrated the client’s data from the Truvolt HIPPA compliant database to Datica. In this way, we saved the client’s money, as well as ensured the highest safety of the product.
All payments on the platform are made through the Stripe payment system. We also implemented Chargebee, supporting the subscription model for the service. It helps all transactions and charges for services to take place. To designate a particular location and find the desired doctor, the user must enter their ZIP code and the exact address. For deployment, we leveraged the AWS builder. Our developers consider Twilio a reliable tool for communicating with clients. Also, we used Knex.js as the SQL query builder.
