Private: Valley Pay

Valley Pay is an application that streamlines the process of transferring money from the US, UK, and Canada to Africa. It avoids numerous humps for the payment process and allows for completing transfers in several steps.

Our developers made a unique route for money transfers — available in three currencies (US Dollars plus Kenyan and Tanzanian shillings), the app also shows the exact amount that the receiver will get. Then the amount is converted and gets charged by SynapseFI. The amount is delivered to African recipients using Flutterwave. 

We delivered a complex registration process that involves users’ name, email, and password. Once verified, users can send money transfers and track their status or details — the app sends notifications to keep users informed. 

The specifically designed admin panel, however, allows for easy editing of exchange rates, fee amount, deep settings for transaction details, and search functionality.

The app is a solid blend of Aurora PostgreSQL as a database, .NET Core as a back end language, Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications, and Kotlin for general Android development.
